Unconventional, but highly efficient & effective teaching/learning process that DOES NOT start with అ ఆ ఇ ఈ
“I have learned in 5 hours what would’ve taken me 5 years.”
- K. Tamanna, Hyderabad, after experiencing the
Ultra Rapid method.
Basis:
- Observation of society’s struggles with telugu script & “spelling”
- Math & Stats behind the tiles (the tile values tell a story)
- Unnecessary complications in script (చ, ఛ; ద, ధ; జ, ఝ; కి, ని, యి (ಯಿ in kannaDa)
- Korean script (simple & super easy to learn)
- Founder's personal experience in learning tamil & korean scripts in two days.
- With existing methods (అచ్చులు--> హల్లులు-->గుణింతాలు-->ఒత్తులు), need to wait 2 years to read/write అమ్మ, నాన్న
The above diagram illustrates the one-to-one visual resemblance between vowels and "maatraas" in telugu, hindi and Korean. In telugu, only one maatraa ("au") has a one-to-one resemblance with its vowel form. In hindi, there are three, and there's partial resemblance with a fourth ("u"). In Korean, there's 100% one-to-one resemblance between Korean "maatraas" and their vowel forms, which means there is no burden on the brain to remember separate symbols that signify the same sound. In telugu, the most frequently occuring "ottulu" in the language (ya-ottu, ma-ottu, na-ottu, la-ottu) have no resemblance with their consonant forms. What all this means is that one hand, there's the super easy Korean script - called "han-geul" or the "morning alphabet" - it literally takes one morning to learn the script. On the other hand, there's telugu script, which learners don't get right even after years. On top of all this, learners normally don't get to learn how to correctly pronounce and use ఙ and ఞ, which are taught up front. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
"ULTRA RAPID" in brief:
Scientific, logical, super fast and super fun teaching/learning method.
Use of playful, tactile tiles and not paper/pen → "It's a game!".
నాది, నీది, అమ్మ, నాన్న, అక్క, తమ్ముడు in 1-2 hours (vs. 1 year+)!
Rapid, crystal clear understanding of ఒత్తులు (e.g., జ్యోతి, మత్స్యము, స్త్రీ)
Take learnings onto digital devices with ease.
Save a lot of time.
How it works, step by step:
A set of "Magic Tiles" is shipped to your address after signing up for the course.
Schedule 3 appointments with one of our instructors, spread over 2-4 weeks. Interactive sessions will happen online through a video conference platform such as Zoom or Google Meet.
Interactive session #1: 2 hours of fun and learning. You will be using the Magic Tiles and little to no pen & paper.
A bit of homework (but unlike regular homework, this will be fun). You are expected to complete this soon after session #1 and revise before session #2.
Interactive session #2: 2 hours of fun and learning. You will start dealing with complex word formations, including those with "ottulu".
A bit of homework (again, fun stuff and not boring stuff).
Interactive session #3: 1.5 to 2 hours of fun and learning. After this session, you will be able to read any telugu text thrown at you, and will be able to form any telugu word uttered by the instructor. You will also be able to key in telugu text on a mobile device on an original telugu keyboard.
Please note that reading speed comes with practice.
